The photos we take at your wedding are precious to us. To make sure your images truly look their best, we dedicate ourselves to an enhancement and editing process that we are truly proud of. On this page you will find one image taken through the various stages of digital editing that we include in our photography collections and a description of each step. We hope you enjoy learning about our editing process and techniques!
Taking the Photo
To begin with, we shoot all of our photographs using our camera’s Raw setting to capture all of the detail that the camera “sees.” Here is an example of one of our photos right after capturing it:

Exposure & Color Correction
Our goal is to provide you with beautiful images that are correctly exposed and have the best color rendition possible. Here is the same image after exposure and color correction is complete:
The image has now been corrected for proper exposure and color.
“Special Enhancements”
Our Supreme Collection and Premiere Collection include additional editing and what we like to call “special enhancements.” Three specially enhanced examples are shown here:
This image is specially enhanced for softer, brighter skin. A light vignette has also been added.
The skin has been softened and a warm duo-tone treatment has been applied to the image.
Along with skin softening, a cool duo-tone and a dark vignette has been added in this version.
“Print Ready”
When you order a print, canvas, or other print product from your personal web store, an additional level of editing is applied to each image ordered. This includes skin softening, blemish removal, extra brightness and color balancing, and many other techniques to ensure the print looks its very best! This extra editing is included at no extra charge and is applied to every print product you order!
Specially retouched, the photo has been made "print ready" when ordered through your online gallery and web store.
Creative & Artistic Editing
Finally, as part of your Supreme Collection our editor selectively applies one-of-a-kind creative and artistic editing techniques to select images in your Supreme Wedding Photo Set and Supreme Engagement Photo Set to create truly unique works of art!
Skillfully edited to include a textured background, image blending, and further skin enhancement your photo has become a true work of art.
